Overview
The JRC JMR-5482-S-BB is an exceptionally powerful 30kW S-band marine radar engineered for large commercial vessels requiring superior target detection in heavy rain, snow, and rough sea states. Operating on the 3GHz S-band frequency, its 12-foot open array scanner easily penetrates adverse weather conditions that would normally degrade high-frequency X-band radars, ensuring consistent situational awareness.
Designed as a "Black Box" system, it offers bridge integrators ultimate flexibility, allowing it to be paired with existing multi-function displays (MFDs) or custom console monitors. It features JRC's state-of-the-art Target Tracking (TT) and seamless ECDIS integration, making it a critical component for safe, compliant navigation.
