Overview
The JRC JUE-87 is a highly reliable mobile earth station designed for Inmarsat-C global communication. As a cornerstone of the Global Maritime Distress and Safety System (GMDSS), it ensures that vessels can transmit and receive critical distress alerts, Enhanced Group Calls (EGC), and maritime safety information regardless of weather or location.
Beyond standard GMDSS functionality, the JUE-87 integrates seamlessly with Ship Security Alert Systems (SSAS) and Long-Range Identification and Tracking (LRIT). Its compact, omni-directional antenna features no moving parts, ensuring maximum durability. The system is operated via a high-visibility 10.4-inch color message terminal, making routine messaging and emergency operation straightforward for the crew.
